Aloha!

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise! Chartered on May 7, 1990 we are known for our enthusiasm, infectious spirit, camaraderie and commitment to serve others. We work together on a number of different projects each year that benefit our youth and our community.

The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise has been selected twice as the District 5000 "Rotary Club of the Year.” The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise was also a recipient of the coveted Rotary Achievements Award for assisting in the development of "Read to Me" program which has been adopted internationally. We have a wide-range of service activities helping our local and the international community. Join us and catch the spirit of helping others!

Rotary International celebrated 100 years of service to humanity three years ago with the unifying theme, “Celebrate Rotary!".  This year the Rotary Theme is "Sharing Rotary"; a call to Rotarians to share their vocations, community, family, and in our Rotary activities.  The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise celebrates 18 years of service to our community this year.  Membership is 65 members from various vocations and ethnic backgrounds.

Although membership in the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise is by invitation, I encourage you to learn more about Rotary and what it means to be a Rotarian. We meet every Monday from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at 1451 Queen Emma Street, in downtown Honolulu. Our fellowship, greeting, and breakfast begins at 6:45 AM; meetings start exactly at 7:15 AM. We wear aloha attire.

We don't just talk about “Service Above Self" we live it! Come find out how you can make a difference in our community, have good fun with others, and discover what makes getting up at the crack of dawn on Monday to start your work-week so rewarding. Please call me if you would like to know more about Rotary or the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise
